- Micro Systems, Inc. is engaged in the design and manufacture of transponders, GPS-tracking pods, real-time micro processor-based control systems, unmanned vehicle control stations, and their associated test equipment.

- The Company was founded as a small business in 1976. In 2005 it was acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary by Herley Industries, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and established as a “ Center of Excellence” for unmanned target control. Over the years the Company has expanded its technical expertise in the following areas: Drone Control Systems, Ground Target Control Systems, Multiple Band Transponders, GPS-based Tracking Systems, Test Equipment, and Engineering Services. All equipment is built under direct or subcontract for Department of Defense agencies. Historically, a substantial part of gross sales has been applied to research and development of new products. Company success has evolved by starting internal design as much as two years ahead of advertised DOD requirements. This strategy has permitted more aggressive pricing because manufacturing and testing is based upon actual data rather than estimates.
