The
Model 50 Test Set provides a modern Windows-based computer environment
for verification of target drones prior to launch. The Test Set provides
convenient menu-driven, drop down displays on its built-in daylight-readable
LCD screen. The Test Set displays all target telemetry and system status
while allowing the test operator to transmit target commands in either
direct link or radiate mode. The unit contains its own GPS base receiver,
allowing it to verify all Transponder GPS functions. The Model 50 Test
Set also provides a go/no go test function for verifying Transponders
on the bench, and can be used to verify Ground Station components (i.e.,
System Control Console, Target Control Console, etc.) using the built-in
Ethernet Interface.
